Day 03, 28 October – Namche Bazar

Team ready to go to Namche

Team ready to go to Namche

After an 11 hour long and relaxing night we woke up fresh and fit for fight for walking to Namche Bazar. Under a sunny sky and in perfect temperature we started our trip along the river and through small villages and pine woods. A Fantastic walk with small villages, fully loaded porters and horses, dancing children, water falls, suspension bridges and lots and lots of people. To be specially noted we survived the walk over the highest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world and we saw the first glimpse of the biggest mountain of them all, Mount Everest!

We were well fed during the day and it was proofed that good food is best eaten outside together with newly met friends!

The hike was beautiful and in the start it was a good balance of ups and downs. The final part of the hike was quite challenging with a steeper path than before.

The hike was overwhelming and thanks to experienced support from our guides and excellent food, we now look forward to tomorrows walk around the Namche Bazar area!
