Thursday the 29th.
All were feeling well and rested after our meals and sleep. We hit the trail with good energy. And the trail hits back. This is our first real effort on the trail and not to be trifled with. Our guides help us to adjust from our brash rush to a steady pace. We have lots of little breaks and learn the speed of going slow.
When we get to Green Tara Hotel THEY HAVE HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS.
Our energy and laughter are back for dinner. Some of us even stayed up until 9 pm before turning in for the night.
