30 May- 2018: Namche – Acclimatization Day
Morning started with spectacular view of peak during sunrise along with Manish. It was an easy 10 min climb from our hotel to that view point. We stated our day as acclimatization day, briefly stopping at Army Base Camp. Got view of mighty Mt. Everest in middle of clouds

After a steep ascent for about 1 and half hrs we reached Everest View Hotel at 3880 m. We couldn’t see much of Mt. Everest just a glimpse. I loved the zen architecture and had a wonderful ginger tea. After that we descended through Rhododendron trees with flowers that a beautiful.

Sight! we clicked lots of pictures.
We had scrumptious lunch at Khumjung valley and descended to Namche amidst fog. While descending, I was lucky to meet a marathoner who run from EBC to Namche. She was generous enough to pose me with for a pic.

I finished my day with delicious local Sherpa food “Sakpa”.
