Day 06, 31 Oct – Lunden

Team had rest during trek

Sun was rising when we had our good breakfast in Thame. We started todays trek along the village then we followed the river of Bhotekoshi slowly upwards the whole day. This trail was famous for Nepal-Tibet  trade trail which used to bring goods like salt from Tibet to Namche Bazar. Sometimes the trek was very steep above the river, we hardly met any other people the whole day. Today’s weather was fascinating with lots of high clouds, sun and for us lots of new snow covered peaks all around us.

Thame Village

We had a lovely and a long lunch in Maralung (Riverside Lodge). The owners organized the lunch in their backyard. After lunch a lot of us had a lovely powernap on the grass. The small “village” was full of stone yards.

Lunch Time

Two hours later we arrived in Lunden 4380 m. All of us were given room with toilets (hole in the floor) and a magic view.
